Beginning Monday, all students will need to pay for breakfast and lunch unless they qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Please make sure you have a plan in place for your child this week.
If your child will be eating school lunch, start having those conversations now about your family's expectations. Take a look at the lunch menu for this week and decide together what days they may want a school lunch versus a lunch from home. We have several students who bring lunch from home and also get a school lunch -- please talk with your child so you can better manage your lunch account balance.
If you believe your family may qualify for free or reduced-priced meals, please submit an application as soon as possible to ensure there is no gap in coverage.
Common Questions:
Adding Funds to Student Accounts
Parents can add funds to their child's meal account by sending cash or a check directly to the school with their student. The student simply hands the payment to any cashier in the cafeteria, who will load the money onto their account for immediate use. Parents can also load funds onto a student account through PayPams. There is a $2.95 fee per transaction if this route is chosen. This fee goes directly to PayPams and not Champ's Cafe.
Meal Access & Account Balances
No student is ever denied a meal due to a zero or negative account balance.
