Sallie Jones Elementary

Every week children and their families can visit the Family Center to borrow books, get support on reading strategies, and choose free keeper books to build their own home library. Special events such as character visits, family nights, author highlights, and tips to improve academics are available throughout the school year.

The Center has a warm atmosphere that encourages discussion about how to increase reading independence and overall student success in Reading & other subjects. Mrs. Clyatt, the Center’s Achievement & Family Associate, can also direct you to other school and community resources as well as inform you about our volunteer opportunities.
