Testing is almost done, with just a few weeks left. As results come in, our K-5 students are rocking it! They are showing excellent growth, and we can tell they have been taking their time and working very hard. This week, we have 3rd-5th Grade Math Testing. Our attendance for testing days has been amazing! Thank you, parents, for making sure your child is at school on testing days! It makes a huge difference and ensures that your child is not missing any other end-of-year activities due to make-up testing. Please remember that a good night's sleep and a full stomach are a great way to start a testing day. SJE students have access to free breakfast each day.

We have an attendance update! During our testing window, several grades achieved perfect attendance, which is amazing. As a school, our attendance rate for the year is currently 93%. As we approach end-of-year activities, it can become easy to think, "It's not a big deal if they miss today." However, please help us finish the year strong with attendance. We have many activities that students will not want to miss, including field trips, field day, and other classroom-level events. Please remember to contact the school regarding any absences. If we receive no information, the absence will be considered unexcused.
